I’m finally unpacked and settled into my old day-to-day routine. My trip spanned 3 long, long, long weeks - the first in Indiana, and the last two in Florida. I’d been meaning to make an Indiana trip with my family for years, as it’s the birthplace of many of my dad’s relatives.

Posts Tagged ‘florida’ Sunday, May 31st, 2009 It’s been a while! I think I’m just over halfway through my Florida trip, and it’s been really enjoyable. DisneyWorld was great: not too warm, though a little rainy. Some rides were down for maintanance, but we still packed a lot into 8 hours. The Florida theme park is a whole lot bigger than it’s California counterpart (we didn’t even go to Epcot, or Animal Kingdom, or MGM Studios, etc), and it was a whole lot cleaner (sparkly new paint on all the rides), but I still think I like the California park better. Everything’s more compact, and they have New Orleans square, which has the best food in the park, I think. I’ll upload pics soon. Saturday, May 16th, 2009
I’m finally in cloudy St. Petersburg, Florida. It’s been incredibly windy and rainy since my brother and I arrived - such a difference compared to Arizona! We’re staying at a condo near my mom’s house, though we won’t be here for long, as we’re heading up to Orlando tomorrow, bright and early. |
