A cool wind blew through Phoenix this week… Finally, that cheery, end-of-the-year feeling is starting to take root. I think my best childhood memories existed during the holidays, which is likely the reason I have so many inexplicably good feelings this time of year. I guess I feed off those cozy, manufactured, family-oriented vibes.

I’ve been hunting for some loose tea and was surprised to find a nice selection there. After munching on a chicken salad sandwich and pound cake dessert (so good, I’m salivating remembering it In the container, it carried a sharp, springy aroma, but once steeped, it was milky-smooth and tasted of roses. My extent of tea brewing usually spans packets of Lipton teas, so this was a savory change! Sunday, May 31st, 2009 It’s been a while! I think I’m just over halfway through my Florida trip, and it’s been really enjoyable. DisneyWorld was great: not too warm, though a little rainy. Some rides were down for maintanance, but we still packed a lot into 8 hours. The Florida theme park is a whole lot bigger than it’s California counterpart (we didn’t even go to Epcot, or Animal Kingdom, or MGM Studios, etc), and it was a whole lot cleaner (sparkly new paint on all the rides), but I still think I like the California park better. Everything’s more compact, and they have New Orleans square, which has the best food in the park, I think. I’ll upload pics soon. |
